I had recently completed 7 years as being the manager of my company of the local area. One fine day due to excellent growth in my work I was sent the letter of promotion and I had been promoted to the post of manager of my company at all India level, it was a big leap from a manager of a local area to the manager for all the companies in the country. I was happy and worried at the same time, happy because I was promoted and my pay was almost tripled and worried because my work load would increase and I dint know if I was ready to take over that post. I had decided to make a visit to all the branches possible and I started with the branch in Jalgaon.

Marvelous experience of traveling in Azad Hind Express


I had never travelled by this train and I was very nervous about my journey, I am a person who is very particular about the things and needs all the facilities and luxury. At the last moment I did not get the tickets for the trains I wanted so I had to buy tickets for the Azad hind Express. The train was on time and there was no delay in the departure of the train. I was very anxious and nervous when I sat down on my seat but later took a sigh of relief when the train started.

The train was very spacious and I had booked tickets for the sleeper class, there were 3 seats on both the sides of one compartment and they were a bed alike seats aligned one over the other with some space in between each of the seats, so if a person wants to sleep whenever he can pull up the chain make a bed for himself easily. The trains did not provide food but I could see many people selling food, each of them coming one by one with their items and selling at fixed prices. I was well prepared with homemade food.  It was a 16 hour journey and time passed away, I would say the train journey was better than what I had expected. I reached Jalgaon Railway Station at the right time, where I got enough facility of porter and transportation to reach the city center.

I used online portal for selecting the hotel, it is very easy and convenient to use. It shows the real prices of the rooms per day. Booking a hotel in Jalgaon was tough for me because I had no fair idea about any hotels there, but the reviews on the portal site came to my rescue, I got some beneficial suggestion from the online hotel reviews. I was looking out for a 3 star hotel so I could avail all the luxurious facilities and moreover enjoy my stay at the hotel. I booked a room in the Hotel Royal Palace. It was a very luxurious hotel with all the high quality amenities.  It was also near my office branch and it was very well known in Jalgaon.  Choosing a hotel with all the amenities required and with a great service and also near to my office branch was a smart selection which turned out to be a great decision later, it saved lots of time.

Enjoyed the shopping in Kandesh Mall of Jalgaon

I had some free time on the last day of my trip, I went to Kandesh Mall it was the biggest mall in Jalgaon and it was very huge, I could find all the top brands there and all the posh restaurant. I did some shopping for my family too and later I went to Yash Plaza. It was known for clothes at a cheaper price and I did some thrift shopping there too. In short, I had a great time in Jalgaon and I was very happy for my promotion.
