Basking In The Natural Beauty Of Nainital

I was planning for quite some time to take a break and holiday at a hill station along with my family. So recently I planned a trip to the beautiful town of Nainital. I was quite excited for this vacation. Hence I planned my entire trip beforehand. I booked my flight tickets as well as accommodation in Nainital online via a popular travel website. I was also able to avail a very reasonable flight and hotel package as I made my bookings around a month in advance. So stay tuned to be part of all my experiences that I had on my Kolkata to Nainital trip.
Air India – The Best Of In – Flight Services
I had travelled a couple of times with Air India which is a leading brand in the world aviation sector and hence I searched all the flights available on the Kolkata Nainital route and made my bookings on the Air India flight number 763. There are no direct flights in this sector hence I booked the Air India one-stop flight for my trip.
My flight departed from the Kolkata Airport at 7 am and reached the Indira Gandhi International Airport, New Delhi at 9.10 am. After a layover at Delhi I boarded Alliance Air flight number 815 at 1 pm which reached the Pantnagar Airport at 2 pm. the distance between Pantnagar and Nainital is around 57.4 kilometres which I covered by road.

I was having a really luxurious stay at the resort. Hereafter I set foot to visit some of the famous tourist attractions in Nainital.
Places to visit
The very first place that I visited in Nainital was the Naini Lake which is the centrepiece of this mesmerising hill town. This lake has mythological relevance that one of the emerald green eyes of Sati, the wife of Lord Shiva fell here after her act of self-immolation.
I enjoyed boating here on one of the vibrantly painted gondola like boats. Hereafter I also visited the High Altitude Zoo. The zoo is well maintained and houses some of the rare animals. The Bengal Tiger is the main attraction of this zoo. I also visited the Eco Cave Gardens which is a newly developed tourist attraction in Nainital. There are several natural and interconnected caves here and the hanging gardens make the place more attractive.
